Expansion	Velocity Encoding Value
Explanation	In PC angiography, spins experience phase shift in proportion to their velocity. If the phase shift is > 180 degrees, wraparound/aliasing occurs. The velocity at which this occurs is the aliasing velocity, or velocity encoding value. The VENC must be larger than the largest velocity of blood in the imaged volume, but not too large.
