Explanation	In slice selection, excitation bandwidth corresponds to the range of frequencies of an RF pulse applied to excite a particular slice (F +/- BW/2). Increasing BW increases slice thickness. Bandwidth of the RF pulse is also determines as 1/period of RF sinc pulse (small BW = thinner slices but longer period). Receiver bandwidth is equal to the sampling rate = 1 / sample time. Aliasing frequency is +/- receiver BW /2.
